These grounding straps — affectionately now known as “probably overkill” — are made at a much higher quality than anything currently available on the market, including OEM.

• 2 AWG type III zinc-plated copper wire
• 3/8″ closed-cap zinc-plated copper lugs
• Crimped and sealed with glue-lined heat shrink

Don’t bother with competitors that use “welding cable” — it’s not tin plated and will therefore fail if the wire shielding breaks. A bad strap can cause all kinds of electrical issues.
